Honey-Sriracha Meatballs glazed and served with garnish

Honey-Sriracha Meatballs Recipe

This Honey-Sriracha Meatballs recipe features juicy meatballs glazed in a sweet and spicy blend of honey, sriracha, garlic, and soy sauce ready in 30 minutes.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb ground beef or ground chicken
1 egg
1/3 cup breadcrumbs
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp chopped green onions (optional)
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup sriracha sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tbsp water

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a bowl, mix ground meat, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper until combined.
Form mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 15–18 minutes or until meatballs reach 165°F internally.
Meanwhile, combine honey, sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
Bring sauce to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.
Mix cornstarch with water to form a slurry and whisk into the sauce.
Cook until sauce thickens into a glossy glaze.
Add baked meatballs to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds and serve hot.

Notes

For extra crispy meatballs, pan-sear before baking.
You can substitute ground turkey for a lighter option.
Adjust sriracha to taste depending on your spice preference.
This recipe also works well with pre-cooked frozen meatballs.
