Description
These crispy Chicken Alfredo Air Fryer Calzones are stuffed with creamy Alfredo sauce, juicy shredded chicken, mozzarella, and Parmesan for an easy, crowd-pleasing dinner.
Ingredients
1 pound pizza dough, room temperature
1 ½ cups cooked shredded chicken
¾ cup Alfredo sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 cup fresh spinach, chopped (optional)
1 tablespoon olive oil or 1 beaten egg (for brushing)
Flour for dusting
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and spinach if using.
Divide the pizza dough into 4 equal balls.
Roll each dough ball into a 6-inch circle on a floured surface.
Spoon the chicken Alfredo mixture onto one half of each dough circle, leaving a ½-inch border.
Fold the dough over the filling to form a half-moon shape and seal the edges by pressing with a fork.
Brush the tops with olive oil or egg wash for a golden finish.
Place calzones in the air fryer basket, working in batches if needed.
Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
Let cool for 3–5 minutes before serving with extra Alfredo sauce or marinara for dipping.
Notes
Don’t overfill the calzones to avoid bursting. Use warm, room temperature dough for easier stretching. These calzones can be frozen before or after cooking for meal prep convenience.
