Description
A creamy, comforting Campbell Soup Chicken and Dressing recipe made with shredded chicken, stuffing mix, and classic cream soups.
Ingredients
3 cups cooked shredded chicken
1 (10.5 oz) can Campbell’s Cream of Chicken Soup
1 (10.5 oz) can Campbell’s Cream of Celery Soup
2 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup diced onion
1/2 cup diced celery (optional)
1/2 teaspoon ground sage (optional)
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 (6 oz) package seasoned stuffing mix
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a large mixing bowl, combine Campbell’s soups, chicken broth, onion, celery, sage, pepper, and melted butter.
Stir in the stuffing mix until well moistened.
Fold in the cooked shredded chicken until evenly distributed.
Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and smooth the top.
Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes until the top is golden brown and edges are bubbling.
Let cool for 5–10 minutes before serving.
Notes
You can use rotisserie chicken for added flavor and convenience.
For a vegetarian version, substitute chicken with sautéed mushrooms or tofu and use vegetable broth.
Add frozen vegetables like peas or green beans for color and texture.
Tent with foil halfway through baking to prevent over-browning.
