Description

These crispy, golden chicken tenders are tossed in a rich, sweet-savory honey butter garlic glaze. A quick, easy, and flavor-packed air fryer meal the whole family will crave.


Ingredients

1 ½ lbs chicken tenders or strips
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup breadcrumbs or panko
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
Cooking spray or oil

For the Sauce
4 tbsp butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
¼ cup honey
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)


Instructions

Marinate chicken in buttermilk for 30 minutes.
Mix flour, breadcrumbs, and seasonings.
Dredge chicken in dry mix after marinating.
Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
Spray basket and cook chicken in batches, 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway.
Melt butter in pan, sauté garlic, add honey, soy, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes.
Simmer until slightly thickened.
Brush or toss cooked tenders in sauce.
Serve hot.

Notes

Marinate overnight for extra tenderness.
Use panko for extra crunch.
