Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F 190°C and prepare a 9-inch pie dish with the pie crust if using Blind bake for 10 to 12 minutes then set aside If making a crustless quiche grease the pie dish with butter
In a large mixing bowl whisk together eggs heavy cream salt black pepper nutmeg if using and Dijon mustard until smooth
Spread your chosen mix-ins cheese vegetables meats or seafood evenly over the bottom of the crust or greased dish
Pour the egg and cream mixture over the filling ensuring an even distribution
Place the quiche on a baking sheet and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until the center is just set but slightly jiggly
Remove from the oven and let it rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing and serving
